Vintage fair for furniture and product design in Berlin
Furniture, lighting, ceramics, glass and home accessories: design icons and rarities spanning 120 years of design history come together in a rarely seen cross-over. Highly sought-after collector's pieces bearing the traces of a life well lived sit alongside carefully restored classics – and affordable, no less charming anonymous designs. Genuine vintage is more in demand than ever: as a collector's item, as an investment, or simply as a way to live more beautifully.
Vintage Design Meets Racecourse Flair: The Tribünensaal in Berlin-Karlshorst
Anticipation is running high – among exhibitors and visitors alike: the 14th edition will once again take place in the 1,000-square-metre Tribünensaal, tucked away beneath the spectator stands of the historic trotting racecourse. The sprawling, park-like grounds give the event its distinctive character. And there's plenty going on outside, too: over three days, additional design dealers pitch their tents around the hall and present a selection of authentic vintage pieces.
On display are above all design classics from the past 120 years, spanning furniture, lighting, interiors, ceramics, glass, technology and art. Many of the style and design icons on show – created by such renowned names as Arne Jacobsen, Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Begge, Egon Eiermann, Eileen Gray, Mies van der Rohe and Wilhelm Wagenfeld – are offered as rare originals by 60 international vintage gallerists and private collectors. The standards for the quality of the exhibited objects are high.
